Same Sex Experience

The National Center for Health Statistics in the US released the results of the “National Survey of Family Growth” done in 2002.   11 percent of women between the ages of 25-44 reported having had a same sex experience at some point in their live. 14% of women aged 20-29 years of age indicated they have had sexual contact with a woman while 12.3 % of women aged 35-39 made the same claim. 

Only 6.5% of men aged 25-44 years of age reported having had sexual contact with a same sex partner.

Only 4.1% of women and 4.9% of men  aged 18-59 reported having a same sex experience in the 1992 National Health and Social Life Survey study.

Office Romance

Vault released the results from it's 2005 Office Romance Survey.  Of the 610 employees who were surveyed, 58% admitted to being involved in an office romance.  Only 19% were open about the romance at work. 

If you're not having any luck online, this statistic may be comforting.  22% of those surveyed said they met their spouse or partner at work.  Remember to check what your workplace policy is on office romance before going down that path...
